Great food ample portion and great service. I will go back.

Overall a good place,seating could be updated just be newer and nicer. The staff is nice and competent ,didn't have to wait too long for my food. Food was good and food portion sizes.

Excellent food great service

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years. I have eaten lunches and dinners here. Not matter when I visit La Casa Jalisco, the food is always delicious and the service is great. I have tried many of the items on the menu, but my favorite is the Burrito Fajita. I have yet to find a better Burrito elsewhere.

The food was a little slow to come out, but was worth the wait, it was fantastic, so was the service! Can't wait to be in the area again to go back.

I really like their steak fajita nachos when I'm really hungry, this visit I was a bit disappointed: asked for a steak quesadilla and the waitress arrived they didn't make them, but pointed to something else I assumed would be similar...( I should have taken a moment to read) and it was not the ooey gooey cheesy goodness and the steak wasn't as juicy. Will be back, but will be more careful.

Our favorite local Mexican restaurant... Everything is delicious and homemade.... Not a chain restaurant. Especially love the chicken soup with avocados and pico de gallo!

Very good Mexican food. It's been a couple years since we have been there. I had fajitas..they were delicious. Good seasoning marinade and came out so quick. Also, their salsa had a real good flavor.

Little extra wait time because of a full house. But definitely worth the wait. Excellent food and service!

One of my favorites next to the Poblanos peppers. Usually very very good. But if you' say get a poblanos that you cant even cut with a axe you better speak good Mexican. Because they sure get dumbfounded and act very stupid. Look at you like you are a foreigner' and dont understand a word you are saying all of a sudden . Been there done it. I had to get pretty aggressive with one of the employees on a couple occasions screwd up my order. Acted so dumb' treated me like it was a sin to complain." Got 2 poblanos a few times' Don't know what it is but some of them peppers are as tuff as leather. No joke. You can't even bite through some of them. Not paying for something i cant eat. My money is hard to come buy just like theirs. But the thing is they can make some very good food. They really do need to have more staff on hand' beacuse it gets busy sometimes and one guy is waiting on everyone and working the cash register on top of it most of the time that i go in there.

Addicted to their homemade salsa!I Buy a BIG Cup of salsa from here every other day while im visiting.Im from NY, And this is the best salsa ive ever had,lil Spicy, But its everything you expect and more.Dine ins come with free salsa and chips, But i havent had the chance T.TOnly done take out. Even if its busy they are Quick with me!

Food was absolutely amazing.. ..

One of my all time favs is their Steak Fajita Nachos with Quesi blanco on it. Plenty of meat and veggies. Huge container full. I usually call in and pick up. They are super busy on weekends, and took 20 some mins. over their estimated time (understandable) but it was as if they lost my order... so today I rated them 4 stars. Usually it's a 5.

This place is really good to go to with friends and family. Also If you have a small group of about 7 to 9 people this would be a good place to go. One thing that I believe is bad is that the plates they serve on sometimes are so hot they can burn you. They do give a warning each time you have a hot plate though just to make sure you don't burn yourself. They have good food according to me and my friends and they are very friendly.

Just stopped here for a late dinner to go. I got my husband two chicken tacos with shredded queso on corn tortillas and a steak taco on corn tortilla with queso. For myself I got a steak burrito with pico de gallo, guac, lettuce, rice, crema, frijoles, and shredded cheese. Omg!!! Muy bien. The chicken and steak were both big chunks of of tender meat not the gritty small pieces most Mexican restaurants give you. The rice and beans taste like mi abuelas rice and beans. We received complimentary chips, salsa and queso dip. Salsa is soooo good. This place definitely does not disappoint. A must try. I was talking with Rosie while waiting waiting for my food and she is the sweetest lady. Bonus they use El Milagro tortillas. Will definitely be coming back next time I work in Streator. Thank you for a delicious meal!!

Over all I thought the food was good but in my opinion I think they should change a few things. I got menu and I ordered the chicken fingers with fries. My waitress said that there was one on the kids menu and one under American food and said that they both are the same. I got worried and got my food and they were shaped as dinosaurs so no matter what menu you order off of you will dinosaur nuggets 😂. The bathrooms were the size of a pantry and the toilet faces a wall which is really in your face. The whole place was small maybe like the size of a gas station. The food was really good but the stakes are a little dry. I would recommend but with a little heads-ups.

My personal favorite restaurant in streator. They've never disappointed me in whatever i get there. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The homemade salsa alone is worth a trip there, but the chimichangas and enchiladas are what keeps me coming back. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant there is.
